Waldo Codes

At my day job I am the Senior Software Engineer for a small company in the agriculture business. I'm fortunate to work from home, located a little south of Duluth, MN. Outside of work, I enjoy code consulting. Other hobbies include coding on my own code projects and flying model airplanes.

I got started coding while working with geospatial information systems (GIS) for the state of Oregon. Python was the first coding language I learned as it was useful in automating GIS processes. After learning Python, I was fortunate enough to get involved in a startup venture in Oil & Gas.

Over the years I've been involved in community driven user groups. Most recently I was a co-founder of the Duluth .NET User Group. Now defunct due to COVID. These days I work a day job and do some consulting on the side.
