My name is Don Waldo. At my day job I am the Senior Software Engineer for an agriculture supply chain company. I work from my home office, located just a little south of Duluth, MN. Outside of work, I enjoy code consulting. Other hobbies include coding on my own side projects for fun. In the rare instance when I am not coding, I enjoy eating.
I worked as a GIS Coordinator for the state of Oregon for several years. This is when I started programming without realizing it. At the time it was just a way to automate portions of my workload. Python was the first coding language I learned. From there I went off to Houston and helped co-create what turned out to be a successful venture in Oil & Gas.
Over the years I have been involved in a few community driven development user groups. Most recently I cofounded the Duluth .NET User Group. Now defunct due to COVID.
In general, I do not have a favorable view of social media. You won't find me on Twitter or Facebook. If you would like to reach me, please send an email.
